Inspired by life, I’m often told I inspire others. A compliment for sure; honestly, I’m merely a Pollyanna*. I see the good around me. I love people... especially babies; I love flowers and fireworks and sunshine and rain and architecture and design and coffee and wine... oh, and cooking. I soooo love good food!

My life has taken an enchanting turn over the last couple of years and I’ve been asked to blog about it. Rambling on about my travels seemed a bit egocentric so I’ve avoided it, until it occurred to me that sharing what inspires me might inspire others too... and voila, a blog is born.

*Pollyanna is a best-selling 1913 novel by Eleanor H. Porter that is now considered a classic of children's literature, with the title character's name becoming a popular term for someone with the same optimistic outlook.
